We recommend that you never buy a property without a conveyancer looking at your property Contract of Sale. Anchor Conveyancing offers clients a Pre-Purchase Contract Advice. Many of our clients have taken advantage of this to receive advice on several properties prior to finding that right one, secure in the knowledge of the ramifications of what they are signing and its effect. In other cases, we have discovered built-over easements, corrected potentially non-enforceable subject to finance clauses and clarified exclusions or inclusions.
Not only do we want you to see the quality of our service before you make the decision to engage us, we also would like to help you resolve some of the potential issues with your transaction before they happen. This will make our job easier during your transaction. Statistics show clients who received pre-purchase advice face less major problems before settlement.
This is just a short list of potential items we check before you sign a contract to give you peace of mind:
Not always you will get the offer for your dream property accepted or you might decide to exercise your cooling-off rights. We can review up to three contracts for free for you. Subsequent contract reviews might cost you $100 plus GST. While it typically takes one business day to do a contract review, allow 1 to 3 business days in case we are busy. The contract review might be done in writing or we can make a half-hour appointment by Zoom or by phone to discuss if it is an off the plan purchase. This is an obligation free review.
If you are our previous client, please send a direct email to your personal file manager. If you are a new potential client, you can call our office at (03) 8640 9002 or email to info@anchorconveyancing.com.au. We are looking forward to assisting you with your prospective purchase.
